If you are not familiar with the phrase you must not be listening to much Hip Hop these days. “No Homo” is like the Olly Olly Oxen Free of straight man speak. You can say whatever gay sounding things you want! As long as you follow it with a No Homo. Example:
“If I was ever gonna go gay I would let Ryan Reynolds go Van Wild on my backside! No Homo”
See how that works? Total sexual language freedom. And everybody wins! Right?
Of course not. It’s like saying being gay is something I fear so much that I have to overly express my heterosexuality to make up for my own sexual insecurities. What gay man would want to make love to a dude with a grill full of metal anyway? Remember what it was like dating girls with braces in High School? Counter productive to every man’s goal.
So don’t worry Hip Hop community you have successfully ungayed yourself without even trying. So you can ditch the whole No Homo thing.
