Some of you may be aware that I used to cover the LA Galaxy for a website called American Soccer Reader. The site is now defunct but the owner has launched an updated version now titled World Soccer Reader. He has reenlisted me to cover my Galaxy again. The site went public today. He also published my newest article.
I will continue to post excerpts here when I do new work for WSR. I’d appreciate any traffic you all could forward that way. With that said here is an excerpt from this weeks story:
“If I were Bryan Jordan I would totally rock the #23 jersey for the Galaxy. What do you mean #23 isn’t available? I’ve been to three homes games this season and watched the first road game Saturday and didn’t see anyone wearing #23. Oh… That Beckman guy… Is he still with the team? Oh well, don’t fret Bryan, I’m sure you can get your hands on that #23 jersey come November. I have a sneaking suspicion that it will be free by then. And do you know what the best part is? You then have hundreds of thousands of built in fans with your number already stenciled on their clothing!
Seriously though, what’s not to love about this kid?”
