Going Guerilla officially celebrates it’s one year anniversary this month. I have to say looking back on a year of writing for this site, I am very happy with what it has become. What started as just a blog on my personal myspace page has expanded to a public forum, where people I don’t even know have become part of a community that knows more about me than they probably ever would care to. In one year this site went from an Alexa ranking of 17 Millionth in the world to 76,695 as of writing this. For those of you who don’t know much about that, trust me, it is something I can feel proud of.
I don’t do any kind of advertising on this site, I make no money on it, it’s just a labor of love. Outside of Entrecard (the samll box on the left hand side) all the traffic here is organically grown. And even in regards to Entrecard, it has bought many great visitors here whom have joined in the various discussions. Special shout out to Ninja Nat over at Do You Jibber Jabber? for telling me about it and then really embracing my site.
Also a special shout out to my man TJ who started his site around the same time as I did and has always been a kindred blogging spirit. When I felt too lazy to write sometimes I’d see him plugging away (both more intelligently and better than I) and it would make me hunker down and find something to write about.
And my homie Puddins. Thanks for picking up the slack when you have had time. It still pisses me off that the smaller amount of content you have done on here still seems to get more traffic than the tsunami of stuff I have produced. Damn your ever-present finger on the pulse of America.
Also a sincere shout out to my main man and brother Taller. He is the one that makes the graphic designs for the site and he has never charged me a penny for work he really should get paid to do. (That doesn’t mean I am going to start now)
Lastly, thanks to Mrs. Rodius for putting up with content that must make her friends think she was crazy for ever taking a chance on a guy with no inner filter or sense of where the line not to be crossed stands. I love you Babe.
For those of you that are new to Going Guerilla you have missed a lot of stuff. So over the next month at the bottom of every post I write I am going to add a link to a “Best Of GG” article to help showcase what I think is some of the best work we have done here. Even though they may be old, please don’t hesitate to comment and rehash the existing conversations.
Thanks again for taking the time to read my site. I appreciate it and hope you continue to find the content here entertaining and/or thought provoking. I also hope that you continue not to hesitate to jump into the discussions.

While not Earth shattering in any way, to this day, I am still pissed at myself for not following up on it. So hopefully this link will spur me to do another episode of it.
