It may finally be official, I think I am addicted to Vimeo. It is just so vastly superior to Youtube it’s ridiculous. Yes the Nut Shot and Tween Webcam ratios may be lower, but count me as someone that thinks that is a good thing. Don’t get me wrong I can enjoy a good video of some dude’s kid hitting them in the balls with a wiffle ball bat as much as the next guy. I’m not dead inside. I just really enjoy the amount of quality HD video available on Vimeo.
Some of the things that continually capture me are HD videos of foreign locales. This one is no different except that it features Nike’s Spanish skateboarding team. Nike recently took the team to Qatar to film it’s upcoming release “This Is Qatar” due out in January 2010. I love the visuals in this piece and its cool to see some things don’t change despite the geography (Cops kicking out skaters).
